Porch Furniture Season!

It's time to spruce up the front porch!

Now some of us (including present company), don't have the place on the lake to fly off to for the weekend, so I'm doing my part to add a little charm to what I have.  This cheerful little settee is just the ticket for some color and cheer on the front porch.  Perfect for sipping on your favorite beverage and watching the fireworks!  SOLD!

Summer Solstice and Mosquitos

SOLD!
For those of you who also read my weekly e-mail, you've heard it all already, but I can't help myself.

I just love this special holiday (Summer Solstice), but these MOSQUITOS... What is it ... a convention this year??  My summer solstice vision bubble looks like this ... me, sitting on my porch (in the rocker pictured above) wearing shorts, a tank top and flip flops, drinking wine and casually chatting on the phone - catching up with friends.  I fear that my Summer Solstice reality will be me trying to enjoy a sit on the porch - smelling of deep woods Off, wearing a hoody, a bug off scarf, long pants, socks and cowboy boots while drinking beer out of a covered plastic water bottle.  Hello ...  Summer?  Montana? When?

I think I'll compromise and and sip wine while sitting in my summer furniture inside the shop this week.  Anyone care to join me?

Duncan passes probation!

I am pleased to announce that after just two months of hard work in the shop, Duncan the dog has passed his probation.  Just in time, this nifty log executive dog bed/desk came through the doors and we decided that it would make a PERFECT cubical for him.  He found a cool bird picture to decorate it up and now he has a place to focus and get his work done.  We still share the same phone line, so if you have business with Duncan,  you have to come in and see him personally.  His schedule is still pretty loose - Tuesday, Thursday, sometimes Friday and an occasional Saturday.  Or --- whenever he is not out at the grandparents house farming.

Fresh!

We made it to June and there is so much to look forward to!  My son graduates from high school and starts his new job which leaves me with an empty nest and lots of time on my hands!  I am in the mood for something FRESH and cheerful, so next weekend (june 13, 14), I am off to the Nine Mile School House for their first Spring Market themed "Fresh" ... of course.  For those of you who have never been ---- don't miss it!
Also, to add to the June fun ... I've let my creative energies kick in and I made another lamp.  Chickens this time!  There --- two cool places you can go for some "Fresh" summer fun ... the Nine Mile School House Spring Market and Echo - to peek at my lamps!  SOLD!
